The work completed for the week ending September 5, 2015 included completion of all watermain. Working on flushing and testing of watermain north of the cemetery. Cleanup efforts on the project site continue.
The scheduled work for the week ending September 12, 2015 will include flushing and pressure testing of the watermain south of the cemetery. Permanent patching of 5th Avenue will continue. Drilling for the connection of the watermain to the maintenance shed at the St. Charles Country Club will also occur. The contractor will provide notifications to those residents affected by construction who may have restricted access to their driveways during this work 48 hours in advance.
All work schedules are weather dependent. Daily lane closures should be expected on IL Route 25 for the above work this week.
