Update - 5/24/17

A short period without rain allowed grading and gravel placement at the substation site to be mostly completed.  The site is close to grade with gravel.  Next steps including getting station power and some lighting installed, which will occur in June.  The installation of the fence around the site will not be completed until the adjacent solar field construction is completed so as to not complicate their construction activities.  Fence installation is expected in July or August.  Substation electrical equipment installations are scheduled for the winter/spring.  The project is still on target to distribute power from the station for summer of 2018.
