KFP Planned Unit Development
The City has approved a Planned Unit Development known as KFP PUD, for four parcels (2.8 acres) generally located at the northeast corner of E. Main St./Rt. 64 and Dunham Rd. The project involves consolidation of the Circle K and former Corfu properties into a single parcel and demolition of the Circle K gas station canopy and convenience store and the vacant Corfu restaurant building. A new Circle K gas station is approvced for the property, including a 4,700 conveience store and canopy with 8 fuel pumps. Also approved as part of the PUD is cross-access between the Taco Bell, Circle K and Franky's Red Hots parcels, as well as access modifications to the adjacent roadways.
Plan Commission held a public hearing on the Special Use for PUD Application and recommended approval on June 8, 2021. Planning & Development Committee reviewed the project and recommended approval on June 14, 2021. City Council approved the project on August 2, 2021.
