West Side Streets
Saw cutting started on west side streets the week of June 29. Storm sewer work started on Avalon Court the week of June 29 and has been completed. Additional saw cutting, curb, sidewalk and utility repairs are scheduled to take place on west side streets the week of July 6. The affected streets are Greenwood Lane, Oxmoor Court, Mockingbird Court, Crabapple Lane, Avalon Court, South 8th Street and 8th Court.
East Side Streets
Saw cutting may be taking place on some east side streets the week of July 6.
N. Tyler Road
No work.
The City sweeps its streets to remove sand, stone, debris, refuse, dirt, and other materials which may have accumulated on the roadway. Not only does it keep city streets clean and presentable, street sweeping also helps eliminate potential pollutants from entering the storm sewer system. Lakeshore Recycling Systems will assist with sweeping all public city streets on a regular basis according to the following schedule:
