The work completed for the week ending May 1, 2015 included the installation of the watermain pipe along the west side of 5th Ave, from approximately 50’ south of the service drive to the golf course south 270’, and along the east side from in front of 1560 – 1582 5th Ave.
The scheduled work for the week ending May 9, 2015 is to continue to install the watermain pipe along the east side of 5th Ave, from in front of 1560 5th Ave, South to near Stonehedge Road. The Contractor is also scheduled to begin connecting/ installing the necessary bends, fire hydrants and valve vaults in the area of completed watermain on IL Route 25 and will also begin to install the watermain on the Q Center property on Tuesday May 5, 2015.
All work schedules are weather dependent. Daily lane closures should be expected on IL Route 25 for the above work this week.
ROAD CLOSURE ON IL ROUTE 25 ON TUESDAY, MAY 5TH
A full road closure is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, May 5, 2015 starting at 1:00pm and will last approximately 15-30 minutes. This closure is necessary for the connection of the watermain from the east side of the street to the west side of the street. The date of the closure is weather permitting and updates will be posted of any changes.
