The work completed for the week ending July 18, 2015 included fire hydrant installation at Allen Lane on 5th Avenue. Connections were also completed this week at connections at Delnor, private drive and Marion. Flushing and pressure testing of the new watermain has not yet been scheduled due to delivery of needed parts.
The scheduled work for the week ending July 25, 2015 will include side street connections at Allen Lane and a valve vault at Station 3+87. Contractor will begin restoration of curb and gutter as well as pavement north of Stonehedge. The contractor will provide notifications to those residents affected by construction who may have restricted access to their driveways during this work 48 hours in advance.
All work schedules are weather dependent. Daily lane closures should be expected on IL Route 25 for the above work this week.
