ST. CHARLES, Ill. (Dec. 20, 2016) – On Saturday December 17, at approx. 7:33 pm, officers responded to the 7-11 at 1705 W. Main Street for the report of a robbery that had reportedly just occurred. The lone offender was described as a m/w adult, wearing black winter jacket, gloves and a winter type face mask. A weapon was implied but was not displayed. The subject fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of US currency and coins. There were no injuries during this incident.
The business and surrounding area was quickly secured by responding officers and a K9 search was conducted of the area with negative results. St. Charles was assisted by K9 units from the Kane County Sheriff's Office and the Aurora Police Department.
