8/3/2021 - Plan Commission - Zoning Map Amendment and Special Use 1023 W. Main Street

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Plan Commission of the City of St. Charles, Illinois on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at the hour of 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers of the Municipal Building at 2 E. Main Street, St. Charles, Illinois, at which time and place the Commission will consider, for the purposes of making a recommendation to the City Council, the following:

Petitions filed by Mohammed Shahid Ali requesting: 1) Zoning Map Amendment from the RT-2 Traditional Single-Family Residential District to the BL Local Business District; and 2) Special Use for Planned Unit Development, both for the parcel located at the southeast corner of W. Main St. and S. 11th St., addressed as 1023 W. Main St., in St. Charles, Illinois and legally described as follows:

THE NORTH 60 FEET OF LOTS 4 AND 9 IN BLOCK 5 OF MORRISON’S ADDITION TO ST. CHARLES; IN THE CITY OF ST. CHARLES, KANE COUNTY, ILLINOIS.

The public hearing will be held at the location identified above. Anyone wishing to be heard for or against the Zoning Map Amendment or Special Use for Planned Unit Development request may submit statements orally or in writing or both. Written comments may be submitted by email to cd@stcharlesil.gov or mail to City of St. Charles, Community Development Division, 2 E. Main St., St. Charles, IL 60174.
