General cleanup and site maintenance

Watermain installation crews have moved onto Production Drive, the water main installation will be proceeding west on Production Drive.

Additionally, drilling continues on Tyler Road under IL Rte. 64.  There will be continued traffic control and lane closures in this area.

City Crews will be installing additional valves to support the contractors work next week. There is one water shutdown that is scheduled for 3/29/21.

Beginning Monday, March 22nd, South Avenue will be closed just east of 7th Avenue for culvert removal and replacement. 

This closure is anticipated to last approximately five weeks. 

Watermain is currently being installed on Industrial Dr. and also under Rt 64 at Tyler Rd.
There is currently traffic control and lane closures in these locations.
The attached map shows water shutdowns for 3/18/21 from 8am – 2pm and 3/22/21 from 8am – 2pm.

Week of 3/15/21: Tree and brush removal

Week of 3/22/21: South Avenue to be closed at 7th Ave. for culvert replacement. The closure will last approximately 5 weeks.
