At 10:21 p.m. on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, the St. Charles Fire Department responded to the report of a structure fire in a townhome located in the 500 block of Pheasant Trail. The first unit arrived on scene five minutes later and reported an active fire on a second-floor deck that had extended up the vinyl siding on the rear of the building. The townhome and adjoining residence were searched and confirmed all occupants where safe outside the building. The majority of the exterior fire was extinguished by the first arriving fire companies within three minutes of their arrival.

The St. Charles Fire Department responded to a single-family home at 1565 Independence Court at approximately 10:46 am on Friday, October 21, 2022 for a report of fire in a residence. The first St. Charles fire unit arrived on the scene in less than four minutes and found moderate fire in the attic space above the attached garage. The firefighters worked to bring the fire under control in approximately ten minutes. The fire was contained to the residence and caused approximately $35,000 in damage to the structure and contents of the home. The home was unoccupied at the time of the fire.
