Week of August 18, 2014
Phase Two curb and sidewalk repairs have completed on all streets.
Phase Three pavement replacement has been completed on all streets.

Last week underground utility construction reached substantial completion. Testing of those utilities will commence early this week with expected completion mid-week.
This week, Electric conduit work is anticipated to commence mid-week for lighting along the riverwalk and future plaza. This work will continue into the following week. Some excavation may begin at the end of the week pending electric conduit progress.
The schedule of work for the week of August 11 is as follows:
Water main and storm sewer work will continue, and is expected to be completed by the middle of this week.
Electric and AT&T utility work will continue this week. Riverside Avenue will be open with partial lane closures when utility crossing are taking place.
Site grading is to begin the middle of this week after the water main and storm sewer work is finished.

Curb and sidewalk repairs are to be completed early this week. Work will continue on structure adjustments in the roadway.
The schedule of work for the week of August 4 is as follows:
Watermain work will begin Monday or Tuesday at the south end of the parking lot and will proceed north. This work is expected to take approximately three days.
The Fire Hydrant at State and Riverside is going to be relocated during the middle of the week.
We are anticipating the installation of electric pipe crossing on Riverside Avenue at State Avenue during the middle to the end of the week. The road will be open with partial lane closures.
Storm sewer improvements will begin at the end of the week.

The Municipal Parking Lot Reconstruction is underway. As with any construction project, things must happen in sequential order and coordination between utilities and sub-contractors is critical. A project of this type will be very active on certain days and not so much on others. Keeping that in mind, the following schedule is what we know to be taking place for the remainder of the week of July 28. The overall project is not delayed and is anticipated to be open by Scarecrow Festival.
The parking lot is currently closed between City Hall and the Police Station to both vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
Curb and sidewalk has been removed through the project limits. Utility work has started and will continue this week.
Pavement removal is scheduled to begin this week.
Geneva Construction Co. will continue work on structure adjustments, and repairs to curbs and sidewalks this week.
