The Municipal Center Parking Lot Project started the week of July 14, 2014 and was originally scheduled to be completed by the start of Scarecrow Fest (October 10, 2014).
The Municipal Center Parking Lot Project started the week of July 14, 2014 and was originally scheduled to be completed by the start of Scarecrow Fest (October 10, 2014).
This week, restoration work will continue Monday through Wednesday; construction on the Seat Wall will continue Monday through Wednesday as well. Brick work is anticipated to take place on Monday and Tuesday.
Work will be suspended beginning Thursday through the weekend for Scarecrow Festival.
A Lamp anticipates to perform Seat Wall excavation and construction all week. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will include installation of the irrigation system and sidewalk. Concrete and brick work at Riverside and State is anticipated to be completed on Wednesday, and rough grading of the rain garden will take place on Thursday and Friday.
A Lamp will be installing the power pedestals on Monday, and crews from the City Electric Division will be installing the street light poles on Tuesday.
A Lamp expects to be paving and moving monuments on Wednesday and Thursday. Work on the seat wall and sidewalk construction will take place on Thursday and Friday.
Landscape restoration continues.
Work on driveway aprons will be completed early this week.
Final pavement markings have been placed.
Cleanup of the road parkway will take place throughout this week.
ALamp will be preparing and excavating the seat wall area Monday through Wednesday. They expect to proof roll and place stone in the parking lot area Wednesday and Thursday, and curb and sidewalk work will take place on Friday.
As a friendly reminder, please remember that City employees should not be parking in the Checkerboard Parking Lot during the Municipal Lot Construction.
Sealant and facade repairs continue this week on the East parking deck.
