An Update on East Side Projects

Chick-Fil-A: Plans call for a new Chick-Fil-A in the former Chili’s Restaurant, 3795 E. Main Street. City Council final approval is expected in October. The existing building will be demolished, with construction of the new building expected to start in 2024.

Target: Target’s $6.5 million remodeling project at its store at 3885 E. Main Street is well underway. So keep an eye out for that to be finished.

Thorton’s Gas Station: The former Circle K gas station and Corfu buildings on Main Street at Dunham Road have been demolished to make room for a new Thornton’s gas station.

The Pride Store: The Pride of Kane County gas station, store, and restaurant recently opened at 3025 E. Main Street.

McGrath Kia Car Dealership: A new Kia car dealership is under construction on Main Street at the site of the former Pheasant Run Mega Center.

Pheasant Run Industrial Park: Two industrial logistics buildings totaling 390,000 square feet are under construction at 4051 E. Main Street, the site of the former Pheasant Run golf course. The developer also is planning two additional industrial buildings on the site in the next few years.

Andy’s Frozen Custard: Andy’s Frozen Custard at 2630 E Main Street is on track to open by the end of the year.

WellNow Urgent Care Center: This immediate care facility is under construction near the Andy’s Frozen Custard site.

Charlestowne Lakes and the Springs of St. Charles: Site work is nearly complete on these two residential developments and some construction has begun. 

Brooke Toria: Site work is underway for this single-family subdivision, located off of Smith Road, near Pheasant Run Trail.
