Update - 7/15/19
The Contractor will be re-seeding parkways in August to establish proper grass growth. Until that time, they will be performing periodic weed and erosion control management.
Project News
7/12/19 Update
- The permanent fencing has started on the south side of the project. The temporary will remain for a short time until we have a substantial amount in place to keep a level of security.
- The rip rap (larger stone typically placed at various utility structures – in our case the pond inlets and outlets) has been placed at the pond and the native plugs have been holding nicely.
- The first and second phases of epoxy floors are complete.

West Side Streets
Update - 7/12/19
Storm sewer work on Deville will conclude this week. Additional concrete work will be completed prior to road resurfacing in the coming weeks. Storm replacement will immediately transition to rear yards between Picasso Drive and Monet Place. On Friday, July 12th and Monday July 15th, fence and landscape removal will take place in rear yards along Mattise Drive to prepare for the next phase of the storm sewer replacement project.
7/5/19 Update
- The garage ADA ramp has been poured which means we can now start to move trades out of that space to prep for the epoxy.
- The detention fixtures are being installed and the specialty plank ceilings are in the final stages of completion.
- The storm shelter shrouds are installed as I mentioned above.
- These cover the 90 degree bends that all of the mechanical piping coming into the storm shelter makes.

West Side Streets
6/28/19 Update
- The binder course of asphalt kicked off on Tuesday with the majority being completed today. However, this is only the first step in the process. The final layer and striping will be put down towards the end of the project to avoid any damage.
- Our final precast infill was completed this week at the west storm shelter.
- The second floor is officially closed for business.

Update - 6/28/19
Our tree trimming contractor has already selectively removed some of the trees between Route 31 and Sedgewick Circle. The clearance of trees in the rear yards of the houses along Millington Way will begin in early July. Residents on Millington who have any property (swing sets or sheds) in the easement, may be contacted to move such on a case-by-case basis.
6/21/19 Update
- The casework for the second floor and majority of first floor was delivered early this week.
- The second floor lobby glass railing work has started.
- The exterior flatwork is ongoing with the work outside of the lobby 50% complete.
- The parking lot and drive coming in from main street are in the final stages of prep for asphalt next week (weather depending). Our site team has been focusing on keeping the concrete trucks on the approved routes so as to not ruin the prep work.
- The pond is complete!
